This objective involves determining the community socio-economic status, environmental status, climatic parameters, institutional capacity, and malaria and schistosomiasis transmission rates. Research methods include in-depth interviews with key informants, questionnaires, and Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) workshops.
This intended outcome is the strengthening of institutions for the control of VBDs.
