Team B is awarded top honours at the Kabarnet Regional Annual Agricultural Society of Kenya Show

The project team participated at the 2016 Kabarnet Regional Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Show held between the 12-15 October, 2016, at the Kabarnet Showground in Baringo County. This event presented the project team with a perfect opportunity to rollout the exercise of disseminating key study findings to the community and other stakeholders.

The theme of the 2016 ASK Show was Enhancing Technology in Agriculture and Industry for Food Security and National Growth. The project team entered into three (3) competitive trade exhibition classes. The team was awarded 1st place in one of the exhibition trade classes: The Best Stand in Research and Development and took 2nd position in The Best University Stand trade class.

The project team’s stand attracted a wide spectrum of visitors, among them government officials, dignitaries, corporate organisation representatives, students, pupils and members of the community.
