June 24th, 2015
A data analysis workshop was held in Yamoussoukro in Côte d’Ivoire from 23rd to 24th June, 2015. The objectives of the data analysis workshop were firstly to help students develop their data analysis plan according to the objectives of the entire project and the objectives of their specific theses and master’s projects. Secondly, the workshops were to start project data consolidation and backup, based on a common format for naming files and folders.
All data collected in Korhogo (Côte d’Ivoire) and Kaedi (Mauritania) was captured and processed to correct data capture errors. The workshop brought together all senior members of the team from Côte d’Ivoire, the PhD students and two master’s students involved in the project. This workshop was a good starting point for a common and integrative data analysis process and helped prepare the feedback workshops that will be held with communities and other stakeholders.
Working session at the data analysis workshop, Fondi Hotel, Yamoussoukro, 23 June 2015.
