Workshop held at Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques
November 19th, 2015
From 18 to 19 November 2015, a workshop was held at Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques en Côte d’Ivoire (CSRS). This took place following a feedback meeting with communities and other stakeholders in July 2015 in Korhogo. During the July feedback meeting, a matrix of actions for the resilience of stakeholders to malaria and schistosomiasis was initiated. The November workshop was held in order to refine this matrix. The specific objectives were: (i) to identify key actions for the project for its third year and, (ii) develop technical datasheets for each activity. This workshop brought together 30 participants comprising members of the project team, some researchers at CSRS, the national program for malaria control (PNLP), the national program for schistosomiasis control (PNLSGF), local media in Korhogo, two NGOs: African Network for Environmental Communication – Côte d’Ivoire (RACE-CI) and Animation Rural Korhogo (ARK), representatives for local community leaders, and the mayor of Korhogo.
