Malaria and schistosomiasis infection is a concern in the Sahelian belt. Several factors can influence the vulnerability of populations to these diseases and the distribution of the vectors that carry malaria and schistosomiasis. These factors include socioeconomic, environmental, health-related and climatic factors. This research-for-action project uses an EcoHealth approach. It aims to develop and to improve malaria and schistosomiasis adaptation tools and strategies. These improved tools and strategies should increase populations’ resilience under climate change conditions.
